9th july. sunday
C.A.N collect challenge.
me and josh went there late, felt so pai seh when the whole com service team was already there. and we came just in time for our lunch. but we had valid reason for being late ok. hmmph* and had to change into the tshirt given at the void deck. was struggling a bit but was quite exciting hah.
we were supposed to go door to door in hougang to collect can food from the residents. was so glad that the houses that i went actually were willing to donate. while josh, wt and hwee didn't even have any haha. see, i know i m good at doing such things. i got the
"friendly-make them feel bad-sympathetic-i should donate" face!
and i was even more surprised when this family actually donated one whole big box of can food filled with
milk powder for the old folks! and from that moment, i became the
TOP CAN COLLECTOR! hahasome weird things collected include chocolate! uh, what else..cup noodles and maggie mee.
after that it started pouring! and my poor birkenstocks! ah, so sad, it's like soaked!
ate at this hongkong cafe at kovan, the atmosphere there is quite nice. i love cafes that have good interior design! now going to a restaurant and cafe is not just about the food anymore, i would go for the atmosphere and ambience before food !
we ordered something similar to ice kachang.. but the mango version. ice is much finer! hehe. nice yummy!!

josh came over to watch the
world cup finals with me. before that we played pool with my sis.. i dunno why i am so lousy at pool now. so sad. the beginner's luck is gone.
the match was quite exciting, except that me and josh supporting different teams la, and we were
ENEMIES then. haha. when france scored first josh was totally torn, then when italy scored back i was quite sad and angry. hah, but we became
FRIENDS again after that. the rest of the match became very slow when both teams not scoring. nearly fell asleep. josh was so rite when he said
"only people who don't know soccer will support france" coz my mum, me and my sis did. oh wells.
when zidane got a red card i was totally shock.urggh so angry with him, nearly flipped! pissed off with his actions. so much hype about the france spirit and everything then he go and hit that guy with his head!??! so much respect for him lor. irritating rite. from "hero to zero"!
he lost the world cup for france at that point of time.
