s22 class outing 1/7/06
(from left: josh, me, michelia, huilin, yongkwong, alene) we had our class outing on sat, unfortunately had only 6 of us! oh well, quite used to such situations , but the class outing must go on!
had so much fun ! we ate steam boat at marina south, was terribly
hot! and i serious never ate steamboat there b4, not with friends. gee, just can't believe that everyone can stand the heat there. and they have live prawns and crabs! we were damn freaked out when the prawns which were still alive we
jumping out of the plastic container! muahah, and we started screaming, and b4 we knew it, the prawns were jumping all over on the table. haha. the other tables were like looking at us. was really
pai seh. and half way we started taking photos, and everyone else were like looking at us too...! in the end no one ate the crab.. hah, me and josh
tackled it all. the prawns were nice and fresh! yummy! and yongkwong really really really slim down a lot!!!! so nice to see him thin! i wanted to train him up in jc, but i guess army did the tick! he probably lost 20 kg or what? we're happy for him!
played arcade after that, was just next to the steam boat place. as usual mich wanted to play
bishy bashy. feel like bashing up the game, it's damn lame. we played daytona, and i dunno why i kept getting
last. diaoz and josh was like one lap ahead of me. so paiseh, must be something wrong with the machine! ahaha(excuses) i'll train up, next time maybe can be first when i learn how to 'dift'!
after arcade was 9 plus, decided to head for
tcc! the
nice and cozy one at boat quay, last time went with danny, jovian and nic. was really a nice hangout to chill! tough finding it, and i think i gave the wrong directions as josh was driving us there! sorry dear, hah, girls = bad direction sense.
next was soccer!
england vs portugal. was so sad we didn't manage to find a bar that has a place for us, and all need to pay for the drinks. in the end, we stood outside fosters. quite pathetic la, but it was a nice good experience! and england had to lose! why why why??? so sad for england, they are out of the world cup, everytime got penalty shoot out, my heart like going to jump out! so scary! heart attack ! so close yet so far. why can't the ball find the net! and somehow, though we have faith in england, we knew that they cant win. and lampard and gerald had to miss the penalty!!! how come!!!!? damn sad. so we stood from 11pm to 1 plus! haha, train legs ah, alene was like leaning on the car parked at the side of the road! and poor huilin was so tired that she was falling asleep on the road side, poor girl.
now can only look forward to the english premeirship again! slept at 3am.
was a fun filled day. ups and downs. glad to see my friends again! guess we all grew, almost 20 now... not old yeah! miss the jc days, miss s22. study hard but played hard as well. now that we are in uni/ns, all at a different stage of our lives, i'm surprised how fast time flies. i can picture everyone of us in the nj in the grey uniform..and now, here we are, grown up to be women and men!
