seeking beyond. youth camp 29th dec 06 to 1st jan 07
i m back from my church camp! seeking beyond!
hopefully i will get more photos!
it's been a long time since we gathered like this before. It was a really good time to build broken/neglected friendships and a relationship with God once more. Although i may not have interacted with everyone in the camp, i really enjoyed myself despite moments when i felt down and i wanted to go back to my own shell.lost without some members.
the games were really fun haha. thoroughly enjoyed it! and i love yellow! such a bright nice colour and a nice group! the cooking game is great though i didn;t really contribute much coz i practically cant cook huh. haha, but we worked together for the better!
throughout the camp i saw myself in the past. when i was still in junior youth fellowship. the time spent planning for the previous camps including 'quan xin the ren' and 'shen ming de ying xiang'. i really miss those days. now in the youth fellowship, things seemed a little different when your friends are busy with other things, other commitments and we are all separated. maybe thats part of growing up. soon i will be 21!
and i think me and wr are fine now i guess. haha, i dunno, i just feel that we can still clique when we are together. coz for all the time that i've know him, we've been suaning each other?
i m also touched by some who were very willing to share and to be truthful infront of God! and the sermons serve to remind me of who i am and who God is. which is a great affirmation to me. It's really great to start a new year with all these things in mind. and ending 2006 with a blast campfire and countdown! i really hope 2007 would be a even better yr for me!
to the youths: always believe in that you can! cherish the time when you are given the great opportunity to lead others and work for God.
looking at the youths, i am really afraid that one day i would not be able to have that much fun when i grow old. would i be able to still jump up and down crazily doing the 'ya!!!!!!' cheer? or play water games and stupid 'hai dai' game. maybe i am thinking too much. but that worries me!
